The perfect wedding cake...
Traditional kransekake ring cakes can make the perfect alternative wedding cake. We recently made one for a couple who cannot eat gluten or dairy, yet wanted a wedding cake that actually tasted good. Gluten free sponge cakes are often pretty grim, so kransekake (which is naturally gluten and dairy free) was a great option.
We hand-delivered their 35 tier cake to The Goring Hotel, London on the morning of the wedding. Despite only having 25 guests, the kransekake was apparently pretty much demolished in one afternoon!
